I have trouble using the ultrasonic sensor with the EV3 as the MonoBrick.EV3.UltrasonicSensor is defined internal. Is there a way to read the sensor value without editing the assembly?

Yes I am aware of the problem – it will be fixed once I create a new release. But grap the test project which includes the source code and make the change yourself.
