Send/Receive Data Example Between PC-EV3

Hi,

Can anyone provide me (as a total beginner) with a good yet simple example showing an interaction between PC and EV3? For instance, EV3 just finished executing given task (moving motor A at certain speed) then notifying PC about the status (no objects bumped during the previous movement); and by that, PC will send another command to EV3 (let’s say moving motor B this time).

Why don’t you just use the MonoBrick communication library? It seems to be better for your projects.

I thought about that too, but I am using Mac platform (yosemite) and when I run the brick using the standard firmware USB couldn’t be recognized through RNDIS/Ethernet Gadget. USB cable get recognized when I run Monobrick firmware only. As a result, I am limited with firmware option when it comes to development environment.
