    Hi,

I wrote a java application for my android phone, which sends gyro values via bluetooth to my EV3.
The data is sent in the special bit pattern which is necessary for the mailbox according to the standard Lego firmware.
Presently I am able to recieve the sensor data using the ‘mailbox-block’ of the standard EV3 firmware.

Now I have replaced the standard Lego firmware by MonoBrick.
But is there any possibility to recieve data via bluetooth with the MonoBrick firmware?

    Thanks,
    Mario

    MonoBrick doesn’t support bluetooth yet.
You can try to use Wifi instead of bluetooth.

Is it possible to connect via wifi direct or do I need a router for this?

I think that it’s theoretically possible to open a hotspot on your phone. But I don’t know how good that works.
