    Hi Anders,
    I retyped the your demo sample in VB.Net and it builds okay with .Net-Runtime = Microsoft on my Win7-PC. Trying to test the debugging, I changed the .Net-Runtime to Mono (latest version, Mono 3.3.0 installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Mono3.2.3) and got the error message:
    Error building target GetReferenceAssemblyPaths: UNC paths should be of the form \\server\share.
    This error also occurs when I build a new emtpy project from scratch!!
    This seems to be a known bug

    but I can not find any solution in the web so far.
    Older versions of Xamarin are not available (“older versions are only shown for customers who have purchased them”)

    Do you know about the problem? Any idea to get around it?
    My idea was to use VisualStudio for editing and then download the solution from SVN into Xamarin for debugging.

    No sorry – I did what is shown here. For this I used Mono 2.10.9…

    Which Xamarin version did you use? Win / Mac or Linux?

    Both – look at the guide. There are instructions for both Mac and Windows.

    I don’t have my windows PC with me right now – but I downloaded the latest version about a month ago.

    My Xamarin studio version is 4.2.1 – this is the version that I used for the guide…

    Hi Anders,
    could you send me that version via e-mail (martin.wagner.daheim@web.de) (link or file)?
    I found further problems in 4.2.2 and can not get a previous version in the web.
